This project included the renovation and replacement of the existing HVAC system serving Building 2 in Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard. MEH was responsible to provide plumbing and HVAC services for this project. Plumbing work required MEH to relocate an existing floor drain in order to create space for the expansion of the AHU concrete support pad to prevent moisture intrusion. The new HVAC system integrated new mechanical equipment for the air handlers, VAV terminal units, supply and return air ductwork, and new controls for the direct digital controls system. This project was completed in 2014.
