Saint Louis School Locker Room Renovation

Established in 1846, Saint Louis School is a Catholic all boys school, located in the Kaimuki area of Oahu.  The school provides special academic programs for grades K thru 12 in the Catholic tradition.  In 2011, the campus began its capital improvement plan.  In 2013, renovation of the existing locker rooms began with donations from alumni and the Clarence T.C. Ching Foundation.

The Renovation of the Locker Room includes new HVAC, plumbing fixtures, underground piping, and laundry equipment for the Restrooms, Shower Rooms, Locker Room, Laundry Room, Janitorial Room, and an Equipment Room.  There are 3 Shower Rooms, consisting of 26 shower stalls, accessible showers with a hand-held shower spray with metal hose and slide bars, Student and Coach Restrooms, a large Laundry Room equipped with  commercial grade washer and gas dryer, storage spaces, and an Equipment Room for storing the football teams gear.  The Locker Room area was provided with large diameter ceiling fans (Big Ass Fan type), used to improve thermal comfort and increase air circulation.

MEH also provided a new connection to the main sewer line and water line in consideration for future master planning construction.  The design took into account the Phase 2 construction of the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletic Center to minimize disruption to service in the existing lines.
