This 200,000 square foot KROC center is Hawaii’s largest community center built on 15 acres of land. The center includes an education and resource center, chapel, classrooms, art and recording studios, performing arts center, commercial kitchen, a 500-seat dining room, multipurpose rooms, a NCAA-sized gym, 150-student preschool, aquatic center, Olympic-grade swimming pool, a 48-bed dormitory and a 3-acre park. The project is a community landmark and service center. The facility is now a community landmark and service center for Hawaii. MEH is responsible for the HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and sustainable design.
